The Olympic Flame near the Maison des Monts d'Or

After a ceremony to light the Flame in front of the Town Hall, the Relay, made up of employees of Sanofi (official partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Flame Relays), will set off on a 1.5 km run to reach the production site.

Thanks to this initiative, Neuville-sur-Saône will be the only town in the Lyon and Rhône metropolitan areas to host an Olympic Torch Relay during its French tour, which began in Marseille on 8 May and will end in Paris on 26 July.
